All rugs recieve a thourgh inspection.

We dust every rug before cleaning to remove any soil from inside the knots of the rug.

All rugs are washed the old fashioned way, by hand, one rug at a time with clean water. We never use large wash tubs that can cause cross contamination of your rug.

Rugs are hung to dry. Some rugs will dry flat if they are tufted or have a dye that might move.

  • Vacuuming your rug often will be the most beneficial when done correctly
  • Use care around the fringe and edges of rug.
  • If your rug is wool, use a suction type of vacuum to prevent damage to fibers.
  • If your rug is synthetic, use beater bar on your vacuum.
  • Vacuum as often as necessary, especially in the highest traffic areas, to keep dry soils from cutting into the fibers of your rug.
  • Rotate your rug every six months to maintain even wear.
  • Have your rugs professionally cleaned every 12 to 36 months, depending on the amount of traffic your rug sees.
  • Use a proper rug pad (no foam) under your rug to protect your rug from wear, stretching out of shape, and also to protect your floors under your rug.
  • For rugs in high traffic areas, have a protective finish applied to your rug to help extend the time between cleanings.
